切換身分為root
#> su root
切換目錄至/home/user
#> cd /home/user
安裝Kernel Header
#> rpm -ivh kernel-devel-2.6.25-14.fc9.i686.rpm
安裝VMware Tools
從VMware Workstation上方的功能選單點選VM -> Install VMware Tools...
當光碟映像檔成功掛載後,將光碟裡的VMwareTools-X.X.X-XXXXX.tar.gz複製至檔案系統中
#> cd /media/VMware\ Tools Fedora Core Linux 9
#> cp VMwareTools-X.X.X-XXXXX.tar.gz /home/user
切換至複製檔案存在的目錄
#> cd /home/user
將VMwareTools-X.X.X-XXXXX.tar.gz解壓縮至檔案系統中
#> tar -xzvf VMwareTools-X.X.X-XXXXX.tar.gz
切換至解壓縮出來的目錄並執行安裝命令檔,然後按照以下範例回答安裝流程
#> cd vmware-tools-distrib
#> ./vmware-install.pl
